Here are some things you should know before finding a “cheap” or
or low cost web hosting services. You should pay very careful
attention to the terms of use and the acceptable use policy of
that low cost web host. You can find a good deal because cheap
web hosting industry is very competitive but if a host is way
too cheap for the features it offers compared to others, don’t
go with them. Going with a low cost web host requires extra
research: read the reviews of that host on this site, look for
any information about them in the search engines, see how long
they have been in business. Visit the support pages and see if
you are comfortable with the level of support offered by this
host. You can’t expect to get the greatest and fastest support
for every little problem you have by paying less than /month.
Such a business would fail soon because qualified support
personnel costs money. Larger companies and Windows plans are
usually more expensive. Cheap web hosts oversell space and
bandwidth, counting on the fact that most people won’t use them
fully. This is normal and you shouldn’t be kicked out if you do
use all your allocated space and bandwidth. Low cost web hosts
often don’t fully control their servers – they might have a
dedicated server with another company to make their costs lowest
possible, so they are sometimes forced to rely on others to
perform some physical tasks like replacing some hardware on the
server.

do you get annoyed when people try to justify not tipping?
i am a former waitress and these statements piss me off more then anything
i don’t mean if service is bad
i mean the people who don’t think they should tip at all for bad reasons
1. " the staff gets paid hourly"- they get paid less then $3 that all goes to takes
2. "well it’s not my fault they get paid that much, why put the burden on me" – actually the tipping process has lowered food costs for costumers. If they had to pay an entire wait staff even minimum wage food costs would double and service would decline because staff would be cut. There are a lot of places you can eat where you’re not stealing from your server and being an inconsiderate prick.
3. "I don’t get paid extra when i do a good job"- once again. they don’t get paid extra if you don’t tip they don’t get paid at all. Some have to tip our bussers and hosts and stuff so actually they have to pay to wait on you if you don’t tip and no waitress is going to be thrilled about paying for a rude costumer
4. "Again the burden shouldn’t fall on me" – first off if you don’t care about food costs doubling because they had to triple a servers pay then you shouldn’t be tight on money to tip. But if you didn’t tip what incentive does a server have to give you good service? They are going to get paid the same dollar amount whether they refill your drinks or not. Whether they make sure the kitchen gets your order right and they could care less if you’re happy with everything.
5 "well they would get fired if they did a poor job- Bull**** it’s hard enough finding servers to completely staff restaurants NOW because of what a hard job it is if you paid then a flat wage it would be harder. It would be easier to work at McDonalds for that pay when you had then a try and say thanks.
so does anyone agree that these people are just cheap and want to try and take Advantage of strangers at their jobs?
again i am not saying if someone gives you bad service you shouldn’t tip
i am saying someone who gives you great service and you don’t tip because you don’t want to.
again metal head (who obviously didn’t read the question)
tipping is not EXTRA
it’s the ONLY income for a server
they don’t make an hourly wage
go somewhere where it’s not expected if you have a problem with this custom
your server won’t mind
People who don’t tip are cheap tools who shouldn’t eat or drink in public.
If you can’t afford the tip, you can’t afford to go out.

Yes it is annoying. I am annoyed by the whole system of tipping, and I was a server for years.
Tips are a service charge that the restaurants have unfairly handed off to customers to shave a few bucks off the prices. This leaves somebody’s wages up to people who aren’t sure how much they should tip or think they shouldn’t tip at all.
My thinking is, if you don’t want to pay the service charge, aka tip, then do not go somewhere that you will receive service with your food.

i dont have to justify the value of a server’s work. the server does.
anyone who thinks a tip is a freebie needs to rethink.
if the server wants a tip from me they have to earn it by at least doing their job courteously, promptly and at least to specification if not above and beyond.
the amount of a tip is discretionary. but so is giving one at all. if i get the feeling i am an afterthought then the most a server can expect is the change from the nearest denomination of coin to what my bill is

No my money I dnt wana tip I wont thats that why should u get extra if i go do my job i dont get extra free bees cuz some jerk feels obligated as part of modern culture

yes I do. they didn’t tip, because they are just simple too cheap or just don’t want to.

Anyone who thinks they shouldn’t tip something is a jerk. A tip is just part of the cost of going out for a meal. I will tip always even if the service is bad. A really low tip tells the wait staff that you are unhappy more than no tip at all. No tip leads them to believe you are just an idiot. I tip 15% for average service and I go as high as 20% for good service. I have never thought the service was so bad I wouldn’t leave a tip at all.

You are hilarious and absolutely correct at the same time. I was a waitress and had to pay taxes on tips weather I got them or the other wait people got to them 1st and stole them. The best tippers are people who have had to wait on fat @ss spoiled humans and know how it feels to get stiffed. I also bartended and there was this crotchety old guy who would sit there and sip his 7 oz glass of beer at happy hour and then as soon as my back was turned to wait on a real paying customer he would slam that beer down and clank his quarter on the counter demanding better service. I wanted to give him service with my hands around his ugly throat that’s when I decided to get out of the service industry. Rich people don’t know and don’t care how little we make and how hard we work. It’s people like us that care and understand. And if your ever on a date with a rich guy…keep and eye out for his tipping policies…it speaks volumes about him.

I am a former waitress, and a great tipper. People who don’t tip are cheap, PERIOD.
A waitperson would have to dump the food on my lap for me to stiff them!

Firstly I would say that I agree with you in some respects and not others.
Calling people a prick is not doing anything for your case. In fact I do not think I would want a waitress with such a foul mouth waiting on me. You might want to rethink that sentence.
Telling people who do not tip or who tip badly that they should not eat out if they cannot afford the tip is another one I have seen on here. However, If everyone who could not afford a tip stopped eating out, many wait staff would soon be out of a job completely.
There was a time in America when tipping was considered VERY UN AMERICAN. Restaurants had signs up to the effect. That I saw on the History channel.
I think the system a lot of European countries have is so much better. They get a decent wage and tipping is not allowed. That would solve the problem of the customers subsidizing the meanness of the employer.
Do I tip? yes, most of the time I do and I tip well, better than my Husband. However, there are occasions when I do not and I appreciate that you are not talking about bad service.
Apart from not tipping for bad service any tip that I would give comes to an abrupt end when I get asked "do you want any change" .
That is the height of rudeness and completely unacceptable. We speak to the manager and let him know why that person did not get the tip and it is then up to him to train his staff in the correct manner.
Anytime this has happened I take the tip they would have received and donate it to an animal charity.
Do I know what I am talking about? YES you bet. I have been a waitress.
Thank you for the question and Good Luck to you.

At the end of the day, its the customers money, they don’t have to if they dont want to. Why pay extra when you have paid for the experience?

Yes, it is very rude not to tip. I refuse to go out with friends who have that mentality. And it is true that a small tip conveys more to a server about their performance than no tip at all. That said, when I waited tables, I always tried to be very nice and helpful to all my tables, regardless of whether or not I knew they’d tip, or tip well. For every table that didn’t, there was always one to make up for it, because I did a good job.

totally agree with ya. thats just how it works. waiters and waitresses do work you guys! they not only deserve that tip- they need it! could you imagine waiting on five tables during the lunch hour! i think any waiter that is brave enough to do that job is worth that tip!

If you want to eat out at a restaurant where there are servers, you tip them. Period. That’s not only proper etiquette, it’s also how sit-down restaurants operate smoothly. Imagine it’s a microcosm of the economy… Removing the tip is like taking out a part of the economy and we get inflation. Not good! So, for goodness sakes, pay the freakin’ tip. It shows a total lack of class otherwise.

I agree. People will come up with any excuse not to tip, what gets me is these people are usually the ones that expect the best service.
