Overview
In lesson 1 we’ll go over all of the components of the computer and the tools needed to assemble them. Make sure you watch all of the build a computer video lessons before attempting to assemble your computer.
Lets go over the components well be installing.
First we have the hard drives. Well be installing 2 SATA hard drives, each with connections for data and power cables.
* A SATA DVD recordable drive with connections for data and power cables
* 2, PCI Express 2.0 16x video cards, a PCI wireless network card and a PCI Express 1x sound card
* 3, 1GB DDR3 Ram sticks
* Processor with heat sink and fan
* The motherboard
* The computers case
* The power supply
* An extra case cooling fan
* Serial ATA data cables for the 2 hard drives and DVD recordable drive
* A power strip with surge protection.
The tools well need
* A Phillips or plus screw driver
* A flat head or minus screw driver
* A power screw driver is optional
* Needle nose pliers for getting into tight spaces or to retrieve dropped screws
* And a parts container to hold the small screws while youre working and to store extras
Using a Power Screw Driver
When using a power screw driver be careful not to over tighten the screws. Its easy to strip the threads which can ruin the part. If you do strip the threads try using another screw with bigger threads in the hole.
To reduce the likelihood of this happening, hold the power driver very loosely, so when the screw is tight, the driver will slip in your hand. Under no circumstances use a power drill with a screw driver adapter.
Types of Screws
Inside the case youll find a bag of screws. You can use the parts container to separate the different sizes and types of screws to make finding them later a little easier.
There are two basic types of screws: screws with little threads and screws with big threads. The screws with little threads are used on DVD and Blu-ray drives. The screws with big threads are used on the motherboard, hard drives and add-on cards. There are exceptions, but the general rule is if a screw doesnt fit in a hole, try the other kind of screw.
Front Panel Connections
There are several cables coming from the front panel that control the power and reset buttons and also light up the hard drive activity light. Some cases also come with cables for a sleep button, power light and case speaker. There are USB, Firewire and Audio cables coming from the front panel as well. We will connect these cables to the motherboard in lesson 3.
In lesson 2 well install the memory stick and processor onto the motherboard.

Customizing the Verizon iPhone 4 to Fit the Users Personality and Style
The new iPhone 4 will not be rivaled anytime soon. With even more accessories that allow the user to further customize the device, consumers will continue to purchase them. The most obvious reason that a person would want this phone is the fact that it is more than a phone.
Although the iPhone 4 is new to the Verizon network, users are happier to have a phone that is fully customizable. Because there are many different applications available for it, it is just as customizable as any PC. The user has the option of choosing whatever picture that they want for their background and there are different apps that make it suite each individual’s needs. Depending on the need of each user, they may want to use their phone just for business or they may want to use just for downloading gaming apps. Whatever the need, there is likely going to be an option for every person that own a Verizon iPhone 4.
One of the first things that owners will want to customize is the outside of the phone. With many different Verizon iPhone 4 accessories, such as a Verizon iPhone 4 case or Verizon iPhone 4 Screen protector, users have even more options than before. For users that using their phones purely for business, then they will want a few apps that make them more productive and efficient. The number one application downloaded is the Facebook application. Since social networking has become widely popular, this is an essential application for all. With the Facebook app, users can network with clients and co-workers to optimize their time and make a better profit.
Document to Go is also a very popular application amongst the iPhone community. This app allows users to deal with Microsoft Office by allowing the creation of Excel and Word documents on the iPhone. Once the documents have been created, then they can be transferred to any computer that has Microsoft Office installed into it. This perfect for anyone that relies on these documents reaching the correct client on time. With the more advanced version, PowerPoint’s can be created and edited on the go to allow a person to work no matter where they are at.
Another app that can be used to make the iPhone experience unique to business users is Scanner Pro. This is most beneficial to people that are always on the go and do not have time to sit in one spot to read documents for any length of time. All the person has to do is to point the camera at the document and hit the capture button like they are taking a picture. Once they have done, it gives the option to make any adjustment and then saves it into the designated folder. This app is probably the best one for people that run a business because it does not restrict them to the office.
Overall, the iPhone can be customized to fit just about every person that owns one. It would be nearly impossible to find to iPhones that are customized the same. It can be used for just about anything and everyone will find the right amount of apps and outer accessories to fit their needs.

Electronic Components
The term “electronic components” is very broad, and could apply to any piece of electronic equipment. More often than not, we think about components as computer parts, but there is so much more. The fact is that any piece of equipment that requires electricity has electronic components. For an electronics manufacturer, this is where a company like Partminer.com comes in handy. Partminer is not content with its current list of component providers, as it is constantly expanding.
